The inspiration for the name After August comes from two key components:​

1. It defines me. I was born on August 17th, 1994, and everything after that August has become the incredible journey that is my life.
2. It signifies the importance of remembering the good parts of life, even in hard times. It reminds us to live after the way you would in the summer on a warm, bright day, it reminds us to live "After August".

After August looks to create music of all kinds, for people of all kinds. Music that is not limited to any genre, that moves people emotionally in life and loss, happy and sad, summer and winter. Everything is composed, played, recorded, and produced by yours truly (unless noted as a cover). I love music and I want to share that love with the world.
